CNG (Compressed Natural Gas)

CNG (Compressed Natural Gas)

CNG is natural gas compressed at high pressure (around 200–250 bar), reducing its volume significantly so that it can be stored in tanks for transportation or industrial purposes. The main component of CNG is methane (CH₄), a flammable hydrocarbon gas.

Advantages of CNG

• Environment: Low emissions, environmentally friendly.

• Economy: More affordable, operational cost savings.

• Safety: Safe from leakage and explosion risks.

• Engine: Cleaner combustion, longer engine lifespan.

• National Energy: Utilizes domestic natural resources.

• Conversion: Can be used in conventional vehicles with a conversion kit.

CNG Implementation

CNG is widely used in the following sectors:

• Transportation (natural gas-powered vehicles),

• Industry (as energy for machinery/production),

• Energy distribution (as an alternative clean fuel).
